The Joy of Creation: Reborn began as a simple free-roam PC game available on Gamejolt inspired from the popular horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s. TJOC:Reborn originally featured a maze-like series of halls with a variation of Freddy Fazbear, named Ignited Freddy in this game, hunting you down. The player had to collect a certain amount of objects while avoiding Ignited Freddy.

As time went on, new areas and new characters from Five Nights at Freddy’s were added. This included Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and even Springtrap in the Halloween update. TJOC:Reborn features free roam, voice acting, and even a separate story mode.

This story mode is not free roam; however, it incorporates all of the Ignited characters from the original free roam mode. Every Ignited animatronic has a specific characteristic and way of beating them, which makes each map unique. Story mode has the same feature where every character has their own way of being beaten; however, little movement is allowed and it is more similar in style to the original Five Nights at Freddy’s games.

The original story mode was set in a living room. However, recently there was a new update that featured the story mode taking place in a bedroom. The bugs are still being worked out for the living room since this game is still in early development. However, the developer of the game, Nikson, is listening out for the player’s feedback on the living room for story mode and if it is winnable or not. Nikson is very proud and happy with how the bedroom turned out.

Nikson said in a devlog, “I’d be very glad if someone could let me know that they actually managed to win the living room. Alright, in the end, I really hope you have fun with the bedroom, since I’m extremely happy with it!”

Overall, this Five Nights at Freddy’s inspired game is unique with its free-room attribute and brings a fresh take on the already successful and popular game. The new animatronic character designs are unique and make this game stand out from the others. This game has lots of potential and has a lot of exciting things coming up in its future!
